TERM TWO NEWSLETTER 2016

WELCOME BACK
Welcome back to all our students and new members. We hope everyone is nice and refreshed and ready for an exciting new term with preparations well underway for our Melrose performance.

STUDIO / FOYER
Could all people using the foyer area ensure it stays clean and tidy, please replace chairs from where you found them. Siblings must be supervised at all times. Do not allow your children and siblings to stand on chairs at the viewing windows. We have a small amount of snacks available for purchase in the foyer, please ensure all money is placed in the envelopes provided on the table – these items are not free – they form a part of our fundraising activities.

TARKETT
As many of you are aware we a privileged to have tarkett as our dance floor surface. Whilst we allow the breaking and hip hop students to wear runners in class – they should not be street shoes. There have been quite a few small stones on the studio floor – these scratch the surface of the tarkett. Please ensure all shoes are checked before entering the studio. Tap students should also check that tap shoe screws are not protruding from the tap plates.

FEES
Please note that all fees are due and payable on Friday 6st May. It is disappointing that I am always chasing the same people to pay their accounts. The due date is note a suggested date, all accounts must be paid by this date. All outstanding accounts must be paid immediately. As this is a long term we understand that circumstances may prevent full payment of fee accounts – please discuss this with us so that a payment plan can be implemented. Please remember that instalment payments are acceptable as are weekly payments (please remember we have no casual classes and that missed classes must be paid for). Students with outstanding fees will not be permitted to perform in our cabaret.

To ensure the safety of all, please remember to observe caution when entering and exiting the carpark, children can be unpredictable and may dart out into the pathway of vehicles, please keep speeds to a minimum of 10Km. Just a reminder that people should not park in front of factory doorways or double park in front of other cars in the carpark. Children are not permitted to play in the carpark at anytime.
